Exhausted

since i came back from raya holiday, i didn't get to rest properly. adam had high fever since saturday. he even vomited on me on the way back from KL to Perlis. sian dier...

on sunday afternoon me and bobo brought adam to see a doc. he gave adam an antibiotic and a bottle of orange flavoured paracetamol. the usual medicines la kan...then bobo and my MIL went back to KL on the same night. so i have to take care of adam all alone.

later at that night, his fever has become higher. the temperature was about 39.5c. i was so terrified! dahla sorg2, anak demam panas lak :( i just wipe his head with a wet face towel to reduce the heat.

on monday morning, the day i should start to work after raya, adam's fever hasn't reduced. so i had to take an emergency leave to take care of him. on that day, his fever was on and off. kejap panas kejap kebah. but the good part is, adam was still active and cheerful when playing. but later in the evening towards the night, he became weak. nak memerap dan merengek jer...sometimes i can see him like 'meracau'! risau jer...the medicines doesn't seem to work for him. i didn't know how many hours i manage to sleep on these 2 nights. jaga anak sakit lagi penting at this time...merasalah jadi zombie time2 camni...zombie kampung pisang pon kalah tau...

on tuesday morning, his fever had reduced a bit. i thought maybe he's recovering and i sent him to his nursery. at 10ish am, his teacher called and told me that adam won't stop crying and his temperature has increased. it's been 4 days since he's down with high fever. on my mind, i just think that i need to bring adam to see a paed immediately.

later in the afternoon, me and my ex housemate (thanks a lot for accompanying me) brought adam to Putra Medical Centre (PMC), Alor Setar. alhamdullillah our journey was ok. aku cuak gak coz lama gilos tak drive jauh2 ni...my skill is still there. haha..skill la kunun....bawak kete auto jer pon ;p

Dr. Guna, the paed at PMC checked adam. his temperature was 38.9c at that time. his throat has become white because of infection and his phlegm was plenty too. so adam was treated with a ubat cucuk montot to reduce his fever, nebulized and phlegm suction. he got 4 different types of medicines. phewww....all together his bill was rm100+. okla kan...then adam has to be nebulized 3 times for 3 consecutive days. ulang alik klinik la aku sampai esok. on friday afternoon we need to see Dr. Guna again for check up.

today, adam is getting better. the high fever has gone with the wind ;p. only left the stubborn phlegm. one more day to go! my mommy says 'dia nak boleh apa2 la kot sebab tu dia demam...' i hope it's time for walking. hehehe....today, my MIL has come all the way from Banting to see and take care of his one and only grandchild. tq mak! terasa beban ni separuh dah hilang...tu pasal la jugak aku dapat buat 2 entry sekaligus dalam 1 malam ni. huhuhu....

hmm...all the exhaustion was worth it when you see your healthy baby smiles and giggles happily, isn't it? have a speedy recovery yer adam....
